Description
The “Fall Block Party” co-hosted by The Station at Riverdale Park and the Town of Riverdale Park on October 26th is an all-day fall-themed event featuring local artists, food and beverage vendors, family-friendly activities, and a Halloween costume contest for dogs.
The event will feature local artists including Hilary Katherine Beall Kendra Pascoe Morrison, Henna by Sanna, and more; local businesses such as Crawford Creatives, Aster Society, Petite Petals Made with Love, Xolo Books, and Cuttis Plants. Family-friendly activities include a 9-hole mini golf course, mat Pilates hosted by Club Pilates, face painting, pumpkins and more. There will be a DJ, and The Shed will lead a drum circle and instrument petting zoo. This year will also feature a “Pup-kin Costume Contest,” a Halloween-themed costume contest for dogs, set to start at 2:00 p.m. with a chance to win gift cards to The Station.
Food and drink vendors include Denizens Brewing Co., Catalyst Hotdogs, La Patrona Tamales, El Jefe Wood Fired Pizza, Scratch Kitchen Olney, Tea Cup Co., The Holly Croque, Vegan Junk Food, African-inspired ice creams and coffee from Shuga x Ice, and more. No ticket purchase is necessary. Transportation between the University of Maryland campus is available by shuttle. Parking is limited.
